Introducing the Inaugural 2008 ROS Soccer Skills Challenge

Rain or Shine Soccer is in search for the best amateur soccer player on the planet. Is it you?

Here’s how it works:

Submit your videos to us through YouTube by emailing the link to your soccer highlight video to info@rainorshinesports.com
Soccer videos will be accepted between now and Saturday, December 13, 2008
Rain or Shine Soccer will select five finalists, each will be showcased on our blog individually along with a post exclusively about each palyer and his/her soccer highlight video during the week of December 15-19, 2008
Voting will begin on December 22, 2008 and will close on December 23, 2008
The winner will be announced on our blog on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2008

So, what’s in it for you? Well, you will get your choice of the following:

Get busy and submit your videos now! If you don’t have one, make one! Here’s what we’re looking for in your soccer highlight video:

Keep the video 3-5 minutes long (shorter than three minutes is fine…just try to keep it under five minutes, please)
Show us your best soccer moves. We want videos from soccer players of all positions (even goalkeepers!). Show us your best soccer tricks, skills, highlights from soccer games, whatever!
We want videos from soccer players of all ages and genders. We will take into account your soccer skills when compared to others of your similar age and gender. So you younger players don’t have to worry about your video being better than the older, more experienced soccer players. Simply put, we’re looking for raw talent.
